Detroit Red Wings and Kroger Team Up to Support Motor City Veterans Hockey
Motor City Veterans President Mike Palmer sat down with Bally Sports Detroit and Trevor Thompson to discuss how Detroit Red Wings and Kroger are helping to support our program and get Metro Detroit Veterans on the ice.
The Red Wings Foundation and Kroger recently teamed up to support Motor City Veterans Hockey and bring awareness to our program's mission and activities. This support included hosting players for the Detroit Red Wings Military Appreciation Game and donating proceeds from their Military Appreciation auction to the MCVHA! Thank you to the Detroit Red Wings and Kroger for the support!
Helping Veterans Heal Through Hockey
The Motor City Veterans Hockey Association (MCVHA) is an organization comprised of veterans and family members. Our goal is to provide Veterans and their families an opportunity for recreational therapy through the sport of hockey. Our mission is simple; The Motor City Veterans Hockey Association offers individuals with military affiliation a structured environment to play the game of ice hockey, providing recreational therapy and camaraderie for veterans and their families.
